Africa- living in transition

Arnott belongs to a generation of artists challenged by a questioning of Western male artistic monopoly and the theoretical debates of post-colonialism, cross- cultural identities and globalisation.  Given these thematic trajectories, she draws upon her intercultural experiences to explore notions of mobility and transformation that cut across boundaries of culture, history and politics.
